USAGE

Usage Instructions:

The clutch fork is a transmission component in the clutch release system, mounted on the side of the transmission housing. One end connects to the clutch release bearing, the other to the pushrod of the clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder (or cable). When the clutch pedal is depressed, the fork pivots on its ball stud, pushing the release bearing forward against the pressure plate diaphragm spring, thereby disengaging the clutch.

Installation Notes:

1. Clean the fork pivot and contact surfaces before installation. Apply high-temperature grease to the pivot point.

2. Ensure proper alignment between the fork, release bearing, and pressure plate spring fingers to avoid uneven wear.

3. When replacing a clutch kit, simultaneously inspect the fork and pivot pin for wear or distortion. Replace if any significant wear or damage is found.

4. After installation, verify complete clutch disengagement and smooth engagement.
