In clutch wholesale, the worst thing is getting fake goods. You can’t tell at installation. After tens of thousands of kilometers, shuddering, slipping, and noise all show up. The customer comes back to you, you go back to your supplier, and the supplier denies everything. You lose money, time, and it all lands on you.

Fakes can look 80–90% identical on the outside, but there are three things they can’t easily imitate.

1. The cross-section.

Cut a clutch disc open and look at the cross-section of the friction material. Genuine products are pressed tightly, with a dense cross-section and uniform color. Fakes or those mixed with recycled material show pores, impurities, and uneven color. Some fakes, to cut costs, mix old material back into the friction compound. The cross-section looks dark and dull, without the brightness of new material. One cut tells the story.

BEWO clutch discs use original-grade friction formula, with stable pressing density. Cut one open and the cross-section is tight and uniform, with no recycled material. Every batch is inspected before leaving the factory to ensure material consistency.

2. Rivets and splines.

Genuine rivets are evenly arranged with smooth heads. Fake rivets are crooked with obvious hand-hammering marks. Same with the spline: genuine splines have regular tooth shapes and no burrs when you touch them. Fake splines have rough surfaces, causing loose fit and early play. If spline precision is poor, it may be forced in during installation and become loose after a short time.

BEWO clutch discs use machine riveting with even force. The splines are precision-machined with regular tooth shapes and no burrs. No need to force them in during installation—the fit is standard and durable.

3. Packaging and batch numbers.

Genuine packaging has clear printing with model, OE number, and production batch all traceable. Fake packaging has blurry printing, often missing batch numbers, and numbers that don’t match. Some fakes even print the wrong OE number—check it on your phone and you’ll see it doesn’t match the vehicle.

BEWO keeps production records for every batch of clutch discs. Product markings and packaging batch numbers match. If wholesalers are unsure, they can contact us directly to verify the batch number—we’ll check it for you. We also take photos before shipment, so if any issue arises later, there’s evidence.

In one sentence: The shell can be copied, but the cross-section and spline cannot.

If you’re looking for a reliable clutch disc supplier, try a BEWO sample. Cut it open, check the cross-section, feel the spline, match the model—then decide. BEWO doesn’t do one-off deals. We only make goods you can sell with confidence long-term. Want a sample? Contact us anytime.
