Those who engage in overseas exports are well aware that the shipping costs are very high. The number of sets that can be packed in one container directly affects the cost per set of shipping.
Based on the actual container loading data from BEWO, when the three-piece set is packaged together, a 20GP general container can accommodate approximately 550 to 700 sets. The quantity varies depending on the product specifications - the larger the set size, the fewer sets the container can hold.
The pressing disc has a diameter of 430mm and the one directly attached is 365mm. The difference is quite obvious. It is quite normal for the same cabinet to have several dozen sets with a difference.
Carton or wooden box? Thickness of the box? Does the box fit the product specifications? Whether using a pallet will affect the number of stacking.
If the three parts are packed into one large box, it will save more space than three separate small boxes.
Some suppliers, in an attempt to maximize the quantity, compress the packaging to the thinnest and stack the boxes as tightly as possible. After arriving at the port, the goods get damp, the boxes get damaged or deformed, and the losses incurred may even be greater than the saved shipping costs. Therefore, when asking about the number of packages, also ask: "If packed like this, what is the rate of intact arrival?" Experienced suppliers can provide data over a long period to support their claims.
The figures provided by the supplier are usually based on the ideal condition of the box. However, during actual loading, the cardboard box may have slight deformation, there may be some gaps between the goods, and the tray size may not be compatible. Request the supplier to take several photos after loading the container (especially the gaps at the bottom and the top), so that the actual loading situation can be clearly seen at a glance.
Total freight cost of the cabinets ÷ Number of packing cases = Cost per set of transportation. Calculate this figure, compare it with several options, and you will be able to see who is helping you control the costs.
For each order, we will provide you with an actual packing plan based on your product model, packaging requirements, and destination port. The quantity will be exactly as stated, and we will provide customers with actual packing photos of each product, without any exaggeration.
If you want to know how many items your product can fit in one container, simply contact the BEWO sales team. We will not only provide you with a clear calculation but also offer container photos as evidence.
